[Dailydrool] Pre-storm

Well the word on the street is that there is no storm but this part of
Presidential stimulus program.
Conley and I headed out early this morning (10:30) on relatively clean
streets for the AH where Conley got a gob of shots, and we determined that
unfortunately he really does need a dental before the BIG SHOW and that he
weighs---he weighs----59.8 pounds!!! I cannot believe it!! My little boy
weighs almost 60 pounds, my BABY!! (Of course my other, two legged baby is
37 yrs old, so I should be used to this!)
Went to the store which appeared to have been looted. No carts. No parking.
Delivered some stuff to the GAllery, took Conley in and he PEED on the floor
I could have killed him.
Picked up the papers at the drugstore and two bottles of wine, leaving the
Van running but locked.
By the time we came home the streets were getting slick in spots, and people
(these folks should not be allowed outside on days like this) were going
15mph in 40mph zones, which were slushy but ok. The person raving and
ranting behind them? That was me.
So it is snowing but apparently this is not yet THE STORM.
I will let you know.
The dogs go out and come right back in, it isn't even fun for them. God only
knows what they will think if we get the predicted amount of snow...2-3
feet.
