Well it dun snowt. An snowt. An snowt. An windied. An windied. An Snowt.
An it dun dat all nite. An den dis mornin, we all Houndies get up all rested
an needin to go ousside, an Mama kickt da door open an....WHOA! uH....
MomPerson hed gone out earlryr wif a shovl, an shovlld a liddel path for we.
An i meens liddel. Sum places da snow were ober we heds. We staid on da
peths.
Lader, affer brekfuss, MomPerson wented out an shovld all arount da yard an
shovlt poop places an liddel turnarounds. We deservet it.


MomPerson says: I may be the only woman in the surburbs who shoveled her
backyard, pretty much. The largest drift I measured was 31 inches and the
general depth in the backyard seemed to be about 16". I sent some photos out
to a friend who said it looked like about 6" and I couldn't figure it out
until I began shoveling and realised the boys didn't sink all the way down.
(I did: no comments please.)
The boys have been happy playing outside. I figure better today than
tomorrow when it is supposed to be......TEN BELOW ZERO.
