[Dailydrool] Bassets at Dog Shows

I'm kind of glad bassets don't win the "big" prizes.   Dogs that win those prizes, especially the "cute" ones (and what basset isn't cute??), can become  "wanted, needed, gotta have it" dogs by people who have no clue about the basset breed or any other for that matter.   Which leads to more basset backyard breeders and more bassets getting dumped, abandoned, taken to the pound, etc.    No flames please.  Just my 2 cents.  Thanks.
