[Dailydrool] Xaxa's update - Is there a "right" time?

Hi my friends

As I told you, Xaxa went to the specialist on Tuesday. On Wednesday he slept the whole day, didn't want to eat and it was difficult to convince him to eat something to  help him take his pills.
Then Thursday it was a surprise when dad got home from work (early, because he is so worried about Xaxa) and Xaxa was barking and when he offered him a sausage(hot dog) as he always does when he gets home from work, Xaxa ate and even wanted another one. Appetite!
At dinner time he didn't eat anything other than sausages -the vet said to give him any food he feels like eating.
Today Dadperson said that he is looking stronger (probably the new med the doc added and the coQ10 together) but he doesn't want to eat.
Dadperson loves Xaxa so much that he asked me to ask you guys if is there was a "pill" that he could take to make him strong, since he is not eating much? I looked at him and asked, "What kind of pill"..? I understand that he wants (as I do) a "magic" pill, but as some of you guys wrote us, he has had 14.7 years (8 of them with us, after we rescued him) and on the last 8 he has lived like a king, being very very loved.
Being realistic,Dadperson went to a place here in Calgary where they have dog hotel, daycare and a cemetery (I know it sounds weird but it is separated and rether nice) and went to find out all to be done when Feyfey calls him ( he doesn't like cremation).
Being that said, when do we know it is time? I cannot go to dadperson house because the ice on the backyard does not allow me to get to the elevator so only dadperson can look at him and decide (but he wants us to decide together).
Sorry if I write too much but it is the first time we deal with it.
If you could continue to send drool it is much appreciated. It is so comforting to have you guys to share our pain and learn how to deal with that.
