[Dailydrool] "Uses for Basset Ears"

First -- Happy New Year to all of my wonderful Daily Drool family!
 
I was sorting through some old computer printouts (starting a New Year's  
resolution to be a little more organized ... ) and I came across a Daily 
Drool  thread from 1998, started by longtime member Jill Beniak, mom to the  
glorious Pretty Boy Floyd (are you still out there?  Hi, Jill!).
 
Anyway, I thought it might be fun for people to add their suggestions as to 
 uses for basset ears.  Here were some of Jill's:
1.  sun visor
2.  chamois
3.  eye glass cleaner
4.  dust cloths
5.  place mats
 
Hope it's a great 2011 for all of us -- especially those who have been  
through losses, or have ailing houndies (get better soon, Brudder Jake).
