I am so sorry to read that Chilliepeper has made her journey to the
bridge. Take heart that she is one again a young and healthy hound.
May she live forever in the magic of your memories.

Gina, I will give the boys some liver jerky tonight, this produces the
strongest of the healing drool for you. Get well soon so you can take
care of those houndies.

Happy Gotcha Day to Burdder Elwood. Sorry that your big day did not go
as planned. Maybe momma will at least give you an extra cookie. Debbie
so sorry to hear that your Tuesday blew! That sucks.

Anal glands. Colt and Ruger are the first 2 of my many hounds that I
have had that have had anal gland issues. They seem to have over
active, and don't want to drain properly glands. I have recently added
a heaping tablespoon of pumpkin to their morning meal and a 1/2 cup of
veggies (either green beans, or peas & carrots) to their afternoon meal.
It seems to have helped a lot. But I still have to manually express them
every 2 weeks just before bath day or by week 3 they are doing it
themselves in the living room. Yuck.

Ears: I love to sit on the couch while watching TV, with a basset head
in my lap and stroke those soft velvet ears or the soft fur right behind
their ears. It is so comforting, better than a worry stone! I just
stroke the soft ear and my tension and stress leaves my body and I am so
relaxed.

Drool to all in need.
