[Dailydrool] furniture problem

You probably won't be able to keep him off the furniture.  He has been trained this way in the past and it is sort of his way of life.   You can however put up a gate on the room and that would solve the problem.  Put up a portable one that comes off if you have company.  If you have a door on the room and can keep it closed,  I would do that.  He may get the idea that he is not allowed in the room.   We have 7 Bassets and one Corgi and they all sleep on the furniture.  We have leather so it is not a problem because you can wipe it down with a damp cloth. I hope you find an answer to the problem.
