[Dailydrool] Cooking for the Brat

Nigel, Conley and Llewis have a housemate who had a leg removed due to
osteosarcoma. Always a bit of a picky eater he refused food after the
surgery, so I made chicken for him. He puked and puked and puked and you get
the idea.
I tried every prescription food for a bland diet that Hill's makes to no
avail.
I finally microwaved some hamburger, poured off the grease, rinsed it and
rinsed it, put in a pot with water almost to cover, added broken pieces of
spaghetti, some garlic powder and some Parmesan Cheese. Big hit! No puking.
Of course now, he won't eat anything else.
Oh well.
The trick is getting the grease out.
