First to the urination ... one thing you didn't mention, is Sidney Neutered?
And although the doctor looked for UTI, did they do any XRays?

My thinking in that regard, is that if he's had health issues that include
tumors, is it possible something could be pressing on or causing issue for
the bladder? Xrays, while not cheap, are certainly less expensive in most
places than ultrasounds (if the vet even has an ultrasound machine) and way
cheaper than CT & MRI. I've paid 38 to 90 dollars for Xrays depending on
how many and on getting them digitally on CD for later Veterinary use (if
needed).

If not Neuted there could be something going on back there and it may not
show up like a UTI would.

Second ... on the aggressive issue with strangers. Its possible that this
is a pack Alpha issue. That is, Sidney may see himself as Alpha of "his
pack" which is him, you, and your son. The correction for this is not easy,
and could take some very strong willed behavior on your part which might
make you feel like you're being mean, etc..

Your best bet for this type of issue, is to look for a good dog behaviorist
and have him evaluated. That way you can work with someone one on one, that
can pick up and show you subtle clues to the behavior. One of the keys to
this will be supervision, the other, is in controlling the situation for
when you allow Sidney to go and meet someone (key there *you are controlling
him* not "hey visitor stand completely still").

Neutering can also have a helpful effect on reducing aggressive behaviors.

Good luck on both issues..
