I'm very happy you found each other.  Belle (formerly our foster Sister
Belle) deserves the best.  Our vet estimates that she probably had more than
3 litters during her short life.  This sweet houndette was a part of our
lives for over 10 weeks while she recovered from heartworm treatment.  She
never complained about the crate rest.  Of course she had a big dog bed and
a plush blankie in the crate for snuggling.  When we set up the Christmas
tree, Belle's crate was nearby. I joked that she was going to be someone's
special present.  I'm so happy she is now part of your life.  I'm also glad
you're part of the drool family.

Like fosteter parents will tell you - each foster basset takes a piece of
their heart; some take more.  Belle is one of these dogs.
