After Bazzle had complications after his right front leg surgery, he refused to
eat.
We were forcing Nutri-Cal down him to try and give him some much needed
calories.
One day my daughter decided to slow bake ribs. After two weeks of not wanting
to eat
Bazzle lay in his crate drooling. The ribs ended up being just what he needed
to kick
start his appetite. Bazzle will still make sure that whenever anything is
baking in the
oven or I am making bread his appetite is increased.
I know from helping to care for my father-in-law, who had cancer that
the smell of something slow baking throughout the day was the only thing
that would stimulate his appetite. We baked bread every single day so he would
eat.
