[Dailydrool] Stop, drop & roll

it's a beautiful 4th of July day here in Portland Oregon and the girls 
have the neighbors in stitches.

It took us almost 40 minutes to walk 2 blocks. Can you guess why? 
Mostly, I blame Fiona, who is something of a sun worshipper.  Between 
the stops to sniff good stuff and walking the speed of a turtle she 
stopped to perform her best trick: stop, drop & roll.

You know this one.  First, she stops for a little sniff & scratch in 
the grass.  Next, her left shoulder drops to the ground. Then, she 
rolls around making silly sounds, then lies still. Of course, she does 
not get up when called. She has me well trained. Once she has finished 
her performance, she lays in the sunshine until I give her sister, 
Lucy, the command to sit. Lucy sits, dutifully, for her treat.  Fiona 
knows that when Lucy sits, everybody gets a treat.  Then, and only 
then, does she lumber up and come.

And we lumber on until the next performance. She averages 2-3 per 
walk. Yup, that's summer at my house.
