[Dailydrool] Los Alamos, NM contingent checking in

Penny Lynn here, pawing' at ya from high atop the mesas of Northern New
Mexico to tell all our drooler buddies that we, the Los Alamos contingent
of the Drool (as far as we know!) are A-OK!! and back from our enforced
evacuation to the bee-you-tee-ful Espanola Valley. The Los Conchas fire
has destroyed no national laboratory property, nor any homes or buildings
in the town of Los Alamos, unlike the Cerro Grande fire of 11 years ago,
which took out about 400 homes! Mucho thanks for all the drool sent our
way, and please continue to send drool to our friends in the Santa Clara
Pueblo, who have lost some sacred tribal lands, and are still threatened
by this gi-nor-mous fire! Between drool and rain dances, pawhaps we can
get this fire stopped in its tracks!!
