[Dailydrool] took Pierre swimming

Now that I have found a dog friendly beach, I wanted to get Pierre there again.  It is an hour's drive, but it is a very pretty drive.   Auntie Walli and her hounds Windy and Anna met us there.  After a couple of hours of surf and shore, the hounds got a small vanilla ice cream cup each, and they just couldn't get past McDonalds without getting a cheeseburger.  On his way home, Jr. stopped to visit Mom at the nursing home.  He was so well behaved, and I know he remembers Mom;  they were mutually pleased by the visit, and even though Mom is very week, I could tell it meant something to her to have him there.  Jr. made friends with other residents as well.  When I have a chance to take his classes with ernest again, I am going to try to get him certified as a therapy dog because he will be great at it.
