I have been studying for an exam I have to take for work, but each time I sit down to get some study time in I hear this whine from the kitchen.
Yes it is Speedy looking oh so lonely and wanting attention. I let him up on the couch, which I never let him do and begin again but this time he puts his face on the arm rest and looks and looks. Still trying to study, I then pat his head and continue with my notes only to get a strong nudge at my elbow for a more.  
How do people ever get to study while a basset is around??
