[Dailydrool] Drool Please!

It's been a while since I've been able to post, I've been in and out of the
hospital the last two months, but I've been trying to keep us with all the
goings on on the Drool.

We have a heavy-drool-needed situation here in San Diego. Copper, my 15
year old baby who has anal gland cancer, is not doing well at all. For the
past three days he's refused to eat. Monday I cooked him some chicken
breast and hand fed it to him and he ate that, but now that's not even
working. He's very lethargic, but he doesn't seem to be in any pain. I
don't know what to do, I've tried everything from pumpkin to his favorite
foods and he just won't eat.

I know he may be telling me the time is near, but I'm just not ready! I
mean I have all the preparations made, I've contacted "Transitions" a
company that specializes in helping pets to the bridge from their homes
(Copper is petrified of the Vet's office and I don't want that to be the
atmosphere when the time comes.). Emotionally I'm just not ready.

Of course this all couldn't possibly come at a worse time, as a freelance
reporter for ComicsOnline.com, this is the busiest week of the year for me
with the San Diego Comic-Con opening tonight. Proving the old saying, "When
it rains, it pours." true!

So, any drool you could fling some drool our way, we would really appreciate
it!

Thanks,

Brenda - momslave to Copper and Elphaba
