[Dailydrool] Cleo Update

First of all, Miss Cleo is feeling much better. Thank you to everyone for
all the healing drool. I truly believe it helps. Dr. Matt is still trying to
figure out what it is. Her bloodwork came back fine; a little higher on the
kidney white cells so he thought she might have a little infection there.
Everything Cushings-wise seems to be in check and where it needs to be. Her
urinalysis was fine. Now the x-ray, well that's the puzzler. Dr. Matt &
radiology found a little spot either on or in her stomach, back toward the
pancreas. It's not a mass, but it looks like a small white line. From the
side view, it looks more like a little question mark. Now I keep everything
out of reach (because of Quincy-the baby) and am very careful about leaving
anything out. Doc thinks it might be a little sliver of a treat or something
similar that might have gotten stuck in her stomach wall; but he's not sure.
He took me back & showed me the x-ray. Darndest thing I've ever seen.

He said she was alert & bright-eyed all day, no vomiting, there's no other
internal thing going on. Just this crazy little white line and just from the
x-ray, they can't tell if it's in or on her stomach. So last night, he told
me to give her some canned pumpkin. Her colon was full and he wanted her to
poop. He said there's no blockages, so that was good. So I took her home
and, thank God, she ate her little bowl of pumpkin, and I had brought home
one of those pre-cooked whole chickens from Price Chopper, and she
ravenously ate quite a bit of the breast meat too. This morning, she was
perkier and seemed more like herself. Anyway, I had to take her back in this
morning (poor little thing started whining when we got in the truck), so
they can do another x-ray and, HOPEFULLY, this thing will have passed
through her system (I'm praying for this and so is my bank account).
Otherwise, they will do a barium to get an idea more what & where it is, and
if all else fails, they'll do an ultrasound. God, PLEASE let it have passed
through her system so I can pay my rent! Droolers, you know how it is, you'd
sell a kidney to help your baby! And so would I. Please keep the drool
coming, and say a little mantra that she "pooped it out."
