Beth, I'm sitting here laughing at your description of the 10-week-old
puppies. Piranha teeth! That's just how I used to describe my Quincy as a
baby. And prison shivs! What a great description! And it's so true. It had
been years since I'd had a puppy & I was amazed at just how much he enjoyed
chewing on my hands more than anything else. With his personality (rotten,
stinky, mischievous), I have come to the conclusion that he loves chewing on
whatever will make mommy scream! One thing I found that Quincy loved was the
Nylabone Puppy Bone. It's made of hard, flavored nylon, but it's softer than
the adult Nylabone (which he now has). Another good thing are bully sticks
(not rawhide). They are made of dried steer pizzle (yes, yuck), but they are
more digestible than rawhide & also provide glucosamine & chondroitin, which
are great for growing puppies.

Now what to avoid (if you didn't already know): rawhide, plush toys (can
pull the stuffing out). And with Quincy, I had to (and still have to) keep
everything, and I mean everything up & unplugged! Good luck & give those
sweet little fat tummies a big smooch!
