[Dailydrool] Grieving dogs

I certainly believe dogs grieve. When Rolph's best friend, Solomon, went to the bridge in a horrible accident which Rolph witnessed, he was clearly upset and unhappy for weeks.
As with human grieving, it eased off, but for at least a year afterwards, if he saw a pale-coloured greyhound, his whole demenour would pick up and he'd rush to see if it was Solly, only to visably slump when he realised it wasn't.
