[Dailydrool] Prayers and Drool Please for Pat

Yesterday Pat seemed to be making progress.  We were discussing the next
step of moving her to a rehab center to continue the respiratory and
physical therapy.  The doctor was considering doing this on Friday.  
This morning things took a decided turn for the worse.  After walking a bit
last night, Pat said she felt worse.  By 5 AM she was having difficulty
breathing and by 9:00 AM the moved her back into ICU.  When I got there a
little after 10 AM, they had her on full life support (which she consented
to).  They have her on a ventilator, feeding tube, and a nickzillion IV's.
They are doing a bronchioscope and will do a deep cleaning of the lungs to
remove as much of the "gunk" that is stagnant in the lungs.   The plan is to
keep her sedated and on the ventilator for three days to allow the body to
rest and begin to heal.  The pulmonologist cautioned that things can "go
south" very quickly and hopefully this measure will be successful.  He said
there is about a 50/50 chance.
Please include Pat in your prayers and sling some drool her way too.  I will
keep you posted as I can.
