Don't know if this has been around already, but found it in a magazine in the UK.

How far?

"How far is Rainbow Bridge?" you ask.
"Not very far," I say.
We both know that the time has come
For you to slip away ...

"Will I lose my way?" you ask.
"Oh, no - of that I'm sure.
The path has been well trodden by
Those hounds who've gone before."

"Will I be safe?" I hear you ask.
"Don't be afraid," I say.
"The angels will watch over you
And guide you on your way."

"Will I meet old pals?" you ask.
"They're waiting just for you,
And as you're welcomed at the gates,
They'll see you safely through."

"Will we meet again?" you ask.
"We shall - I'm sure," I say.
"I'll come to join you at The Bridge
When I am called away."

"Is it time to go?" you ask.
"It's time, dear friend," I say.
"Put your faith and trust in me
And gently slip away."

"Have you reached The Bridge?" I ask.
"I'm here - both safe and sound
And though we two have had to part,
Still by our love - we're bound."
