[Dailydrool] Cani-Flex -or- Dr. Franks Joint & Pain - HELP

Took Rosie to the Vet today and found she has "bone spurs" in her spine in two possibly three places (4 x-rays showed this).  She also has a "touch" of Arthritis.  All this came about b/c she didn't want to go up stairs for 4 days but walked fine even ran a bit.

The Dr. recommended we give her Rimadol for a bit (filled script but having second thoughts), as well as "Cani-Flex Antler Velvet Treats"  a friend swears by "Dr. Frank's Join and Pain Relief for Dogs".

Well, I'm confused, sad and overwhelmed.  I looked up Cani-Flex and Dr. Frank's and found Cani-Flex has 500 mg of D-Glucosamine HCI while Dr. FRanks's has MSM, Boswellia, Glucosamine HCL, Beef or Pork Liver, Condrointin Sulfate & Carrot Powder.

HELP... Anyone out there using either and getting good results.  I want to help Rosie all I can but I am MAJOR confused.  I asked my VET if he ever heard of Dr. Frank's and he said "yes, but I don't know much about it".  I will send him an e-mail letting him know what I've found (of course, he could do it himself but..).  He doesn't sell the Cani-Flex but referred me to a web-site which I can order it from.

I'm turning to the Drool Family for some sage advice...AGain!
