[Dailydrool] buster brown loves his 'maters!

buster brown loves maters.  any form.  fresh. red. green. rock solid still on the plant.  canned in v8,  pizza.  in chili, in people's bags, etc.  he obsesses over them.  seriously.  he was rescued originally from staten island, ny..& i do think his original owners must have owned a pizza place because the boy will hurt you for  tomatoes.

mid atlantic does a farmers market most weekends & i have to warn people that he will try to separate them from their  maters.  last summer he dove head first into a 1/2 bushel of maters.  he came out looking a like  a serial killer after a bloodbath.

i have found him eating out of the crock pot on the kitchen counter when i make sauce or chili.  he can open a can of V8 and drink it without spilling a drop.  only drools when i show him a mater.  


i came in one day & found him on the counter throwing half eaten ones down to the floor for sally & lowla...seriously it looked like an axe murder & jack the ripper had visited my kitchen...everyone & thing was red.  happy & red.  
he ain't right on so many levels & loves all fruit & produce but maters...well they are the one thing he will knock you over for.
