Tinkerbell had been urinating a lot lately so we thought she had a Urinary
Tract Infection. We got pills for her and she seemed to be doing better. We
took her back to the vet when the urinaion and drinking became severe again
and the vet took blood. Her calcium level was up. Two major reasons a dogs
calcium level elevates are either cancer or hyperparathyroid. She had a
growth near her anal sac. We got an aspiration of her anal tumor and it
came back Malignant for Andenocarcinoma. Thursday I am taking her in to see
if this cancer has metastisized to her lungs. If so we will keep her
comfortable, If not we will see what our options are. Has anyone had an
andenocarcinoma removed from their hound before? And how well did they do
with removal? Please let me know. I read on the internet once they are
removed the dog stops eating and does not fare well. Please send no pain
drool Tinkerbells direction.

My vet went on vacation and did not tell me. The nerve of him. I have been
waiting to hear from him about the news from our ortho vet in Columbia that
he sent Busters X Rays to he was going to let us know when we could take
Buster to him for possible surgery and my vet is not at his office for me to
get the news HRUMPH!! I guess we will find out next week what the Ortho
specialist thinks about Busters leg. Buster is doing well right now with his
eye surgery behind him he is a very sweet boy.

A drooler sent us a donation of some ear wash and a gift certificate for
Fosters and Smith catalog I got a six pack of flea and tick medication,
Advantics 2 and four lbs of dried sweet potatoes. Buster is the only one of
my furkids that does not like the sweet potatoes. He has no idea what I am
trying to put past him but he is not going for it. LOL Everyone else loves
them!!This boy had never had a treat before in his life he looks at treats
like what is this??? He eats most of them after he toys with them a while
but the sweet potatoes he just cannot hack!
