[Dailydrool] ear hematoma

We had this problem with a cat.  I remembered reading an article about
leeches and hematomas, so we ordered some from a supply house.  I Googled
some instructions and we used them very successfully.  The leeches sucked
the blood out and reduced the swelling.   This was about 5 years ago, so the
details are hazy, but I believe we used them for about a week. The ear
returned to normal after being incredibly swollen.  There was no infection
or other complication.
