[Dailydrool] Liver enzyme diet

I know this is not exactly the same, but it should relate.

At the beginning of this year I got Mono (stupid, I know, you're suposed to get it when you're 15 not 50!).

Anyway, the virus attacked my liver and three sets of enzymes were very high (not worth comparing numbers as likely to be different for humans and dogs).

My doctor was very strict about what I could and couldn't eat (which is more likely to be relevant). He said: No fat, no eggs, no red meat, nothing fried, no dairy apart from skimmed milk in tea, no alcohol.
He said I should eat fruit, vegetables, plain pasta, wholemeal bread and get lots and lots of rest.

So I think putting her on a low fat diet with no treats may well help. Hope so!
