[Dailydrool] Miss Angela update

Bill here, press agent/personal trainer to Miss Angela Basset,
Droop and Drool Diva of Wichita and Sedgwick County

Miss Angela's birthday (and calendar day) open house brought
out the best and worst in the Diva.  She looked her (matronly)
best and was generally the life of the party.  HOWEVER some of
her worst behavior emerged.  She tried loudly and persistently
to engage everyone who came in the door in conversation, 
making a tremendous uproar in the process.  While she almost
never counter cruises, any food near the edge of a table or the 
counter was fair game.  She became a shameless beggar, not
seeming to have her usual pride and dignity  whenever someone
appeared to have food.  She would bark, whine or bay in a 
(usually successful) attempt to wheedle food.  On at least one
occasion she stole food out of someone's hand.  I, of course,
was mortified by her behavior and lack of class, but finally gave
in and said that whatever I didn't see or hear about was fine.

By the time the last guests left she had already fallen comatose
on the floor behind the couch.  After they had gone, she resumed
her standard position on the couch and remained there for the 
better part of 24 hours, getting up only to go outside to do her
business and pick at her normal food.  Luckily the dear one has
a cast iron stomach and all the human food did not disrupt her
digestion in any way.  The party was Sunday and she is still
catching up on her beauty sleep.  ( I must admit that I too was
less than judicious after one invitee brought us a bottle of Old
Bushmills as a housewarming gift.  Let's just write that one off
as warming up for St. Patrick's Day)  She is asleep as I write.

Miss Angela sends thanks and greetings to all who sent kind
wishes on her birthday and healing drool to those who need it.
