[Dailydrool] Our Entropion Adventure

A couple of months ago I posted that our Bernie was in need of entropion surgery. I want to thank everybody that responded with such positive experiences. After ice storms and blizzards, we finally managed to go to an eye specialist which confirmed that he needed surgery on both eyes. I had my vet, whom I work for, do the surgery on Tuesday and I think he turned out very well.  Right now he looks over-corrected but she says things will tighten a little. Actually right now he looks like our Carlie Jane so I'm thrilled. I'm sure it's nice not to have your lids scraping against your eyes all the time. 
 NOW for the added perk. Bernie, a.k.a. poop breath, has figured out that he can use the e-collar as a shovel should he decided to have a snack in the backyard. He can scoop up a whole load at one time. How can I yell at a dog with an e-collar on, and how can I pick up every load as fast as six dogs can make them? I think all my other dogs are envious and want their own e-collars now. I know dogs might get into a tiff over food, but a pile of poop?My whole herd is yucky, but I love them like crazy. I just won't kiss them on the lips.
