[Dailydrool] Happy Days in Friday Harbor

Dis is Pebbles pawing in for the first time to tell everyone that I now have
a forever home and a momslave in Friday Harbor. I already started the slave
training. I is a most beautiful red and white retired show girl. I am
learning all about being a pet and a slave owner. The momslave said she is
going to teach me about belly rubs.

Momslave here - After almost a year I have a new Basset in my life. She came
from the Basset Hound Rescue of Puget Sound. I went down for a meet and
greet on Wednesday and brought her home with me. I wasn't quite prepared to
bring her home that soon so I've been working on getting things arranged for
her. The breeder had trouble breeding her and they only got 2 litters from
her so they decided to put her into rescue. She is a big girl - 61 lbs and
has about 6 lbs to lose to get her down to her ideal weight. There are
pictures of her on my FaceBook page. She is a big smooshy bundle of love -
she is always giving me kisses or in my lap every chance she gets. I also
received a Drool calendar at the same time and need to find a base for it.

I took her to the vets today to get vaccinated and they found she has yeasty
ears. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to keep that from re-occurring
I would appreciate it. I have drops to use now. She was great when the vet
handles her ears and I'll find out soon how she is when I put the drops in.

to deal with a new houndette isn't leaving me a lot of time to read the
Drool.
