[Dailydrool] Snoopy here

Hi all, it's Snoopy here,

First off let me say how sorry I am for the loss of Rusty, may his memory be for 
blessing ....

Our house is kind of quiet too, as I am making sure my brother Cyrus is resting 
comfortably and I am not tolerating anyone disturbing MY Cyrus (unless it's 
me).  Poor Cyrus came home last night with one fewer tooth than he left with in 
the morning.  It was a GREAT BIG ONE way in the back on top.  MomPerson thinks 
he broke it catching a frisbee .... let that be a lesson to Mr Fetch.  Vets are 
nearly as clueless as momPersons as it seems.  The Vet told momPerson to keep me 
and Cyrus apart because Cyrus was on drugs and might be unpredictable and I am a 
rowdy basset hound.  So, dadPerson and I went into a back room when momPerson 
brought Cyrus inside and I aaaahhhhhrrrroooooooooo'd for my brother and I could 
hear him crying for me.  MomPerson said the heck with it and let me at him!!  I 
ran STRAIGHT for his mouth of course ... there was blood coming out ... with 
drool .... and Cyrus isn't much of a drooler.  Cyrus never even flinched ... he 
knows there is a difference between rowdy brothers talking trash and brothers 
when one of them is sick!!  I checked him really, really good .... and then I 
kissed him.  Later momPerson had a new (soft) food for him which he wouldn't 
touch so I inspected it and told him it was ok and momPerson put a spoonful on 
my kibble and I ate it ... so he ate his.  Then he went a laid down and I .... 
nursemaid Snoopy here ... cuddled him.  I kept an eye on him and made sure he 
was ok.  momPerson had bought him a new toy but he didn't want to play .... I 
charged up and down the hall squeaking it but he DEFINATELY didn't want to play 
so I quit that.

You know, when Cyrus is fine he can be kind of scary ... he's huge and he's 
physical and he's really strong.  I talk a lot of trash to keep on par with him 
and at first my momPerson thought that meant I was aggressive (because she's 
clueless).  I am NOT aggressive (I have never, ever, ever even offered to nip 
him).   I LOVE Cyrus ... nobody pushes Snoopy around, that's all.  Poor Cyrus 
has a sore mouth and all I can do is kiss and cuddle and try to make him happy 
because he is my brother.  


momPerson asked me if I would stay all sweet and stuff after Cyrus gets all 
better.  Figure the odds ...

Nursemaid Snoopy needs to go make sure Cyrus is still asleep and doesn't need 
anything.
