I am way, way behind on my drools. I just read this thread on the true story
and I have something to say about it, if it passes moderator muster. You
said it like it is, so thank you sister. I do have something else to say,
though. If it hadn't been for my limited papered purebred basset, Pierre,
whom I purchased, with a contract requiring the return of him should
anything happen and I couldn't care for him, from a reputable breeder who
finished her bitch, Maybee (Does She or Doesn't She) and mated her with a
finished sire, Al (Al, Your no Einstein), I wouldn't be involved with
Michigan Basset Rescue, I wouldn't have fostered 27 bassets (I'm not so sure
some were actually bassets) and I wouldn't have adopted 2 of those I
fostered. Pierre, who will be 13 on 3/21, is the reason I rescue now and
rescued then.
