[Dailydrool] Fat Bassets

GEEZ !!!!!   what an insult to the Michigan Bassets  calling  them " FAT 
Michigan Bassets "    I am in Ohio too but some  times,  just sometimes there 
is a REASON that a Basset is heavy,  My  Maggie Wags has a weight problem, 
but she also has health issues not related to  FAT  she has a severe 
compromised immune system ( allergies )  she has  Thyroid disease  and Arthritis  
she only gets a cup of food a day,  lots of green beans and apples  for a 
snack,  but she is still on the  chunky  side weighing in at 58 lbs.  she is 
limited to exercise  because of her arthritis and especially now when everyone 
else is outside,   she goes out and has an allergy attack.  so THERE ARE 
REASONS  for  some Bassets to be  overweight,  no matter what we do  Maggie is  
overweight  as for her sister Evil Annie ( same mom & dad )  she  is long 
and lean and mean   bwahahahahahahah   she has no  allergies,  or other 
health issues and so she is on the thinner side,
 
So,   before you start calling Bassets fat just because you  assume that 
their slaves over feed them,  maybe there are medical issues  that are out of 
any ones  control and therefore the Basset is over weight.  !
OK  , that is my personal opinion  I get very offended when  someone calls 
my Basset fat
