[Dailydrool] Unwrapping candy

Bassets can sometimes unwrap small candies.  My first two girls, Sassy and Daisy, managed to get an entire box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates open--a hard, sealed plastic box, consume the entire contents of said box, and leave all the wrappers balled up on the floor.  I was ignorant of the fact that even a hard sealed box would prove no match for this dynamic duo.  It was under the Christmas tree.  Needless to say, I never put much of anything under a tree again.  They were not harmed by the chocolate and went on to eat shoes, dirt, plants, wallpaper, roasts, hams and many other items to no ill effects.  They were really the sweetest girls.  They could be extremely resouceful when home alone.  They just loved to redecorate.
