[Dailydrool] Pet Agility Event on Long island

buster, sally & i braved traffic (& the ungodly wake up hour) to make the schlepp to patchogue, ny to join the loyal mid atlantic peeps for the pet agility expo at st. joe's college on saturday.  not the greatest weather, but no rain which was really all that mattered (altho it did need to be 1 degree warmer to keep the parrot lady happy..& the pig owner seemed pretty content as did the pig who seemed to be enjoying "snacks"

buster made many friends..& in honor of national police week he sported his k-9 officer costume.  he sang his ever loving heart out (as usual) & worked his magic to help raise $$ for the rescue...i do believe i heard that miss shelby was even asking for $$ to be a "working" model in her hat & pearls.

miss daisy went home to a foster home & cadbury seemed to have lots of people interested in him ...some more than others & so0me who were a little scary.

on the bonus side..beyond all of that i caught up with friends i had not seen since high school back in the bicentennial year & then friends from back in the day when i was still working at the statue of liberty..i haven't seen them in probably 15 years..so it was a great day all around.

buster got some special treats for his operatics upon arriving home.  sally got some for not hurting herself & lowla for minding the home front while we were away.  i got some for managing to stay awake.

next up the TROUT PARADE.  LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY.  JUNE 11.
