[Dailydrool] thunder

Buddy suffers rather severe anxiety with thunder. He loves wearing his thundershirt but it doesn't seem to have much effect. He paces and pants. He hasn't been crated since a pup, but we put up his large crate and covered it with blankets, hoping it would provide a cave of comfort. But he won't go in it. The only place he feels safe is laying between the bathtub and toilet on a rug. It's a small bathroom and he's a large dog, so it's a bit tight in there for anyone else to use it. Does anyone have anything else to suggest? I've even tried lavender oil, to no effect. He eventually calms down, but we have had MANY storms the past few weeks and I worry about him when we're not at home to comfort him.ThanksSlaveMom Linda to Buddy & Roscoe
