[Dailydrool] Hadley to the Bridge

It was with great sorrow that we sent Brevis' Hadley, our beloved
Hadley-Madley, to the bridge this afternoon.  Hadley came to live with us at
age 2, after unexpected surgery ended his show career.  Handsome, with an
easy confidence, Hadley was all dog and proud of it.  The world was his
oyster, and each day was an opportunity for new adventure.  Although he was
troubled by many physical ailments over the years, he met every challenge
with grace, and never complained.  He feared nothing, except maybe in later
years, the vacuum monster, and then only just a little.  As age 14
approached, his body began to truly fail him, and finally we felt we had to
release his sweet spirit to run free at the bridge.  We feel privileged to
have loved Hadley and shared our lives with him for the last twelve years,
and know that someday we will be reunited and our broken hearts will be
whole again.  Farewell, sweet prince, our Hadley boy.
