Dear Denise,
 
We were so sorry to hear about Shadow. Thanks to you, he knew love and care. He had a great life with you, and in the end, you loved him so much that you did what was right for him, even though your heart was breaking. His suffering has ended but yours is just beginning. Sending buckets of Basset and Great Pyrenees drool, and hugs from everyone else of the Thundering Herd. Bob & I are keeping you in our prayers.
