[Dailydrool] Seventh Annual OBR Mini-Waddle!

Calling all hearty hounds and humans:  Saturday, December 3rd!   

If you are in or around Ohio, or it's surrounding states, please considering waddling with King Chunky, Olivia and Christmas the Beagle in our Seventh Annual Mini-Waddle to help raise some badly needed funds for Ohio Basset Rescue.

It's all part of Berea's Annual Jack Frost Festival which begins at 1:00 with family activities.  The Light Up Berea Parade steps off from the Municipal Parking Lot behind City Hall at 6:00.  We circle through downtown Berea amid thousands of twinkling lights and end at the Pavilion at Coe Lake for a pizza pawty and raffle.

You'll find detailed information on the OBR website, including hotel details and a list of raffle prizes. We have the new Hungry Hound cookbook, a handcrafted pillow from Bessie's Boutique, an MBR hoodie, a basset hound tie, Moon Doggie Coffee and the list goes on.   Or you can email the she-slave if you have further questions.

Live too far?  Hate the cold and snow?  You can still buy raffle tickets  -- and there are a few nice items that are not on the list yet:  a gorgeous tapestry bag, an adorable soft basset paperweight, basset Christmas tree ornaments and more to come!

And a bonus for attendees:  You can buy tickets on wine in a basset wine bottle holder, Thirsty Dog beer or a 2 1/2 candy cane filled with dog biscuits.

Remember - You can waddle just about anywhere in the country all year, but Ohio's the only place you can waddle in the snow.  And let us know you're coming so we can order enough pizza.
