[Dailydrool] today's calender girl

Phoebe is one of our Entourage'..She was adopted a number of years ago by
daughter #1. Daughter #2 had seen her on a website...she had been stuck in
a dog pound in KY for a month.  She was so frightened by her past..being
overused, overbred and apparently scared out of her wits by those that had
her and then dumped her at that public shelter. Daughter #1 was 'thinking'
about adopting and daughter #2 (who already had two dogs )was urging her to
adopt.
Daughter # 2 was sent to England on business and got stuck on a plane on
Heathrow's runway for 8 hours during that terrorist crisis involving
threats to 8 large airplanes coming to the US.  During that frightening
time #2 decided that if she got back home safely she was going to rescue
that dog and get her sister (#1)to adopt her.
So a few days later..Beebs got pulled from the pound by the sisters  and
became a member of the family. She got the nickname Beebs from the
sad beebing sound she made when she was so frighteneed  by eveything that
surrounded her. Now she is a much happier and well adjusted little girl and
her beebs are just another very cute little noise she makes when she wants
something.
Today she is so much healthier and happier.  Last year daughter #1 got
married and now Beebs has a daddy who also adores her and makes her very
happy. Her Dad took her to the Bassethound town waddle in October where
Beebs enjoyed herself immensely.
Last week She spent the week with me as Jen and Seth went on a little
second honeymoon trip.
Needless to say..Phoebe aka Beebs lives happily ever after with her  momma
and dad...as it should be!
