[Dailydrool] Sammy's surgery

First, I want to thank everyone for sending so much drool for Sammy.   We 
had to rush him to the emergency vet last night when his back legs  
collapsed.  This morning he had a lamenectomy (inserting a rod in his  spine)...they 
told us he has a 70% chance of recovering...  He'll be in the  hospital for 
4 or 5 days, then should be a 4 to 6 week recovery period.... I  brought 
down Homer's old crate for him.
  Again, so much for caring.
