[Dailydrool] Doggie Seat Belts

Has anyone used the Ruff Rider dog seat belt?  Eli's trainer recommended it.  He is anxious when he first gets in the car and tends to cry and move around a lot.  I have a dog hammock for him to lay on, but he will sometimes go under it.  If it is a long ride, he settles down after a while, but I do not want him to get hurt.  I have also wondered if a thunder shirt might calm him a bit.  He also gets nervous if me or my husband have to get out of the car (like to pump gas-- I promise he is never left alone in the car).

If anyone has used this or another type of seat belt, please let me know if it works for you.
