I found the most wonderful book, anyone who enjoys knitting, check this out
its called

*"Knit your own Dog"* it has simple instructions to make over *20 breeds of
do*gs Including the *Basset Hound!*  In fact it includes the Afghan Hound,
Basset Hound, Dachshund and Whippet for the hound chapter. Not bad.

The instructions look easy to follow and the results are adorable.

The book is authored by Sally Muir and Joanna Osborne, google it.
