Buy the panties for her, not diapers. You put a pad in like a panty liner.
They are elasticized so they stay on. When you put them on her the first
time, do it when you are going to do something else with her. For example,
put them on just before feeding. Or put them on and immediately play a game
with her. Make it something distracting enough that she won't concentrate on
the panties.
Also it may well take both of you the first few times.
