[Dailydrool] Giving Tramadol

My hound recently lost use of his tail and had a hard time sitting down on his rear end.  I took him to the vet and he diagnosed that a disk in the back part of his spine must have been damaged somehow.  So, he gave a steroid shot and sent us home with rymadyl and tramadol.  Like everyone else, I could not get him to take it with anything.  Then finally, I cut a thin slice of the great value version of velveeta cheese and put the pills on one side, fold it over, and press the sides together so that the pills are in the middle of the cheese.  He swollows it whole not knowing there's anything in there.  I hope this works for Nigel and anyone else out there that may be having problems giving tramadol.
