Nancy's Tina sounds a lot like my Juliette. Sometimes Juliette will not want her breakfast bowl. In fact, right now she's laying with her head next to her bowl of food sound asleep. Zzzzzz. She nearly always eats her dinner bowl. Sometimes I can just tell her she needs to eat her breakfast and she will and sometimes she looks at me as if to say "Have you tried this stuff?" Sometimes I can add a little lukewarm water and then she'll eat it or just let everyone else outside and tell her she has to eat her breakfast before she can go out to play. I know it's totally a mind game with her and she knows she can get her way if she just waits me out and gives me those pleading eyes that say "I'd really like it if you'd just put a little of that yummy canned food with the gravy on my breakfast Mom." She always eats it all when I do that. This sort of backfired on me and she got a little too chunky so when I showed her at our local 4 day cluster two weeks ago, two of the judges gave the points to her half-sister Bobbie Sue and commented on Juliette being a bit chunky when they handed me her reserve ribbon. Oops. Juliette is now on a bit of a diet and won't be getting canned food added to her meals for a while. She took the points two of the four days and Bobbie Sue won the other two days so we can't complain. The rest of them are total chow hounds and if one of them refuse to eat it's usually a red flag. The boys will refuse food if one of the girls are in standing heat. A little canned usually does the trick for them too.

Sending drool to everyone who needs some. We have plenty around here.
