OK gang,

    A few months back, I sent in a post stating that I was fostering a 
new dog, Sidney (Crosby) by name.  He is a nice little two-year old, 
with a very sweet disposition.  We were fostering from Looziana Basset 
Rescue.  He was HW Positive, had a liver issue, and a bit of Dry-eye.  
Well, it took us a month to get the liver thing in check, and two more 
to get the HW issue taken care of.  He had his last HW appointment last 
week and now he is home.

    I knew it was inevitable, but...I signed the adoption papers when I 
went to get him from the Vetspital.  He is such a sweet little guy, 
given all that he has been through.  He fits in real well with our 
pack.  I think he has bonded with my significant other (Meredith).  He 
simply adores her.  I just couldnt bear to let him go elsewhere...he 
needed to come home with us.  So, my first time fostering has met with 
epic failure.  I figured that would happen, but now it is official.

   So (drumroll please!), I would like to welcome Sidney Crosby Woodward 
in the pack Bay Basset Pack.  I am hoping to spend many good years with 
him.  And, as far as fostering goes, I am 0-1.
