[Dailydrool] Dogs that can't be Fixed

How very sad that a dog that seems healthy can't be fixed because of their behavior. I have heard of a couple of cases like this. i believe it's actually referred to as Rage. I'll hear the vet ask if the animal seems to get a glazed look before they explode. And afterwards they don't act like they remember the incident. I have a friend that had this happen to one of her weimaraners. Was it bad breeding? No, she actually was the breeder and owned his mother and two sisters. She knew his lineage way back.He was returned to her when he was seven because of behavior issues. The first thought is "the owner just doesn't know how to handle the pet". There were several episodes where that glazed look would come over him, and there would be blood shed, but you just don't want to believe that this healthy pet can explode. Then one day he nearly ripped his dog mother's throat out.He came trotting in from the back yard as if nothing had happened, and the mom was
laying on the ground nearly bleeding to death. She barely survived, and he was tearfully sent to the bridge. There are rare times when  there isn't enough love in the world to fix a problem. Letting go is heartbreaking. Sad ahroos for Penny, but there are no demons at the Bridge.
