marty is the master of the remote and recording shows to watch 
later......he found a show, and i am not sure of the exact name , but it 
was a vet show with something like ask the vet in the title.......well 
this show was about food, what foods are harmful to dogs 
etc........really nothing i didn't know but in almost all of the food 
shots, there was a basset hound or two.....enjoyed watching it......we 
also told my 5 year old grandson today that sweety our parrot had 
died....he got teary eyed, came over and hugged me and asked what 
happened......i explained that she was old, sick and even the doctor 
couldn't help her.....he hugged me again and said, grandma you have 
pictures and video of sweety and when you look at them you will remember 
her......i burst into tears.......this is why all kids should have 
pets.....they learn compassion and how to look outside themselves 
......i am so proud of my grandson.......kudos to my son josh and his 
wife michelle for doing such a great job raising him with values to last 
a lifetime.......they have a basset and a cat at their house.....nancy, 
hershey and einstein
