Well, it sounds like Picky-Eatin' Tina has lots of good company. I
laughed at the antics we all go through to get our picky eaters to eat,
and yes, they all apply to Tina, too.
We don't dare move if she's eating, because she might stop.
We feed her in the bedroom (sometimes), or we feed her in the kitchen
(because she doesn't want to be in the bedroom).
We "start" her by feeding her a few kibbles by hand, and that sometimes
works and sometimes doesn't.
We have tried every brand of dog food known to man, and every one is
great, or it isn't. Only Tina knows when and why.
She, like several of your houndies, is most picky about breakfast. So,
we stick her bowl in the microwave and shut the door -- that keeps Frank
from trying to counter-surf her kibble, until she decides she's hungry a
couple of hours later.
Gotta love 'em,
Nancy, owned by Frank the Tank and Tina the Picky-Eater
