[Dailydrool] Pearl needs some drool

Pearl did well yesterday during her oral surgery. They weren't able to shorten the canines - too much root exposed and she had them and several more teeth extracted (after the 10 extractions last April). The flaps went well to close the fistulas in her palate, but she had a rough night. She has been rubbing her face, irritating things and causing bleeding. The bleeding is under the flaps, going into the sinuses, clotting in her nose so she can't breath. That makes her shake her head more, making the bleeding worse. Minimal bleeding during the surgery but she hemorrhaged all night. They are running labs this morning to check her clotting factors and make sure she doesn't need transfusions from the bleeding. She will be sedated for 12 - 24 hrs to keep her calm and hopefully let things settle down, bleeding stop, and healing start. The flaps appear intact and OK so far, just swollen and bruised. My feisty little girl is not happy and fighting this and needs any good thoughts, prayers and drool that you can spare. She's been through so much already - this is supposed to help her, not make her more miserable, sigh....And she's too far away for me to go see if I can calm her down. I know if anything can help, it's DROOL.
